International Contact Ontology:

This ontology provides basic classes and more detailed properties for representating international street addresses, phone numbers and emails. Rather than using existing ontologies, such as vcard, it was decided to create a new one as the vcard and foaf ignore the details of international addresses, phone numbers, etc.

The important part of the ontology are the object and data properties used to describe addresses primarily and phone numbers.

25 May 2020: changed hasEmail to a data property

14 April 2020: changed restriction on hasStreetNumber to xsd:string to allow for street numbers that include letters

8 Nov 2019: changed range of lat and long to decimal

6 Dec 2018: added hasPostalBox data property

29 Oct 2018:changed days of week individuals to lower case
- added hasAddressType to Address (left out in error)
- renamed directions to lower case (north, south, east, west)
- changed Address properties to max 1

28 Oct 2018: changed range of hasOpeningTime and hasClosingTime within the class HoursOfOperation to be xsd:time (originally xsd:dateTime)
